Finish and superfinish
CRS performs finishing processes that give surfaces the roughness required by the technical specifications supplied by the client, being able to range from Ra ≤ 0,002 to Ra = 5.
CRS specialised in the superfinishing of calender rolls.
Superfinishing reduces the level of roughness of the chrome plated surface, giving calender rolls a specular quality. CRS is capable of obtaining an Ra ≤ 0,002 that we test and certify with a control card.
CRS also provides other procedures:
- shot-blasting
- satinising per ottenere effetti MATT effects with particular RA's on request, up to a maximum of Ra=5
A control card attesting to the roughness is also issued in these cases.
